Challenging your problem solving skills to accept failure

So I had to collect funds for a social cause that is for Eidhi Foundation. I had a lot plans to make it accomplish like putting a collection box at a store, creating a fund collection competition, etc. But whenever I discussed this with someone they made me realize, that it is hard, it is risky, what if my collection box get stolen, how will I prove others that I am really working for Eidhi. So instead of relying on others I trusted my circle and made a poster to collect funds online.

I just knew that I have to do it and there is no embarrassment in asking money for a cause. So I did it individually,I started dropping this poster in whats-app inboxes of my friends, a lot of them transferred the donations right away, a lot of them put my poster on their status to help spread my reach. I explained a lot of people that why I am doing it and how it is going to help others, sent them audio messages.

I divided this task in one week. So withing that week I was able to collect 2500/- which I was not expecting. But it made me happy that I individually was able to do so against all the odds that I faced. Hurrah!

Now I will visit Eidhi Centre and will hand over the donations to them by myself :)
